Hi, I’m Tania.

YOUR PERSONAL GUIDE TO ALL THINGS TRIAL

I am the Founder and Executive Director of the Skilled Advocate Company. I began my career as a prosecutor, transitioned into a civil litigator, sequed into becoming a law school professor, volunteered my time as faculty for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, was a boss appellate attorney, and am now your personal guide to all things trial. I have tried anywhere between 75 to 100 trials over the course of my career, and I’m not done yet.

I truly have a heart for helping others become their best self in the courtroom. I use my knowledge of trial theater, and my command of the evidence code, to help other lawyers stand and deliver with their shoulders back, heads held high and the understanding that they are the boss of their courtrooms. Since founding the Skilled Advocate Company, I have helped hundreds of lawyers become better advocates and achieve better results for their clients.

What We Do

You name it, we do it. We do live boot camps that allow attorneys to learn and practice their trial skills in real time. We provide on-demand courses where attorneys can learn substantive information on everything from objections to closing argument.

We provide time-saving templates so that you can have a solid foundation to start from. We even do trial strategy sessions to help you prepare for your next trial.

Why We Do It

Because I know what it’s like to be totally freaked out about a trial and I want to eliminate that feeling for as many lawyers as possible. Period.
